The iconic Dufferin Clock Tower, affectionately known as Chikka Gadiyara in Mysuru, has ceased functioning, much to the dismay of locals and visitors alike. Situated near Devaraja Market and constructed in the late 1890s to commemorate the visit of British Viceroy Lord Dufferin to Mysuru, the clock tower has been a symbol of historical significance.
