Historic Kargil War post, which Captain Batra helped capture, renamed 'Gun Hill'

The historic Kargil War post Point 5140, located at Drass, has been renamed 'Gun Hill', a defence spokesman said on Saturday. Point 5140 was the highest enemy-occupied post during the war and Captain Vikram Batra had led from the front to capture it. The capture was a key factor in the early completion of Kargil War operations.
