Hitler failed against Russia, EU will too: Italy Dy PM on EU sanctions

Italian Deputy PM Matteo Salvini said EU won't bring Russia "to its knees". He added, "Adolf Hitler and Napoleon failed with their campaigns to bring Moscow to its knees; it will hardly be possible for the EU...to do it." His remarks came as Western governments have imposed sweeping sanctions since 2022 escalation of Ukraine conflict, aiming to cripple Russia's economy.
