Chief Justice of India HL Dattu, who is retiring on Wednesday, has said that he is contending for the post of National Human Rights Commission chairperson. "If I get it, it is fine and if I don't get it also it is fine", said Dattu. The post is vacant since May this year after Justice KG Balakrishnan completed his tenure.
