A top Union Home Affairs Ministry official is under scanner for allegedly attempting to stall the arrest of former Union Minister Matang Sinh in the Saradha scam on Jan-31. The ministry sources have said that stern action would be taken against the official if the allegation is found true in the initial inquiry.
