Home Ministry cancels Infosys Foundation's registration

Home Ministry has cancelled NGO Infosys Foundation's registration for allegedly violating Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) in receiving foreign grants. The foundation failed to submit annual income and expenditure statement on foreign funding for up to six years, officials said. However, Infosys Foundation said its de-registration followed a request it made to the ministry.
