Home service startup UrbanClap raises $50mn at $500mn valuation

On-demand services startup UrbanClap has raised $50 million at a reported valuation of around $500 million. The Series D funding round was led by Steadview Capital and existing investor Vy Capital. UrbanClap is also facilitating a secondary sale of stocks and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs) worth $4 million to employees and angel investors, the company revealed.
