Honduras makes it harder to reverse abortion, same-sex marriage bans

Members of the Honduran Congress have voted to amend the constitution making it harder to reverse existing bans on abortion and same-sex marriage. Now, any change to constitutional articles that provide foetus the legal status of a person and allow marriages only between a man and a woman, will require three-quarter supermajority support. The proposal still needs a second vote.
