Hong Kong extends flight ban on India, 7 nations over COVID-19 surge

Hong Kong on Friday extended a ban on incoming flights from eight countries including India, till March 4 citing COVID-19 surge. The other nations are the US, UK, Australia, Canada, France, Pakistan and Philippines. "We must maintain the measure... in order to prevent imported cases from posing additional pressure on the medical system," said a govt spokesperson.
