Hong Kong mansion bought for ₹580 crore without paying taxes

A buyer purchased a Hong Kong mansion for $86 million (₹580 crore) using a method allowing him to avoid property taxes, according to the agent who brokered the deal. The property was acquired through transfer of shares of an offshore company, in whose name the property was registered, allowing the deal to go through without paying local taxes, he added.
