Hong Kong to ban flights from UK over COVID-19 variants

Hong Kong said it'll ban all flights from the UK from Thursday due to "the recent rebound of...epidemic situation" and spread of COVID-19 variants there, including the variant that was first detected in India. Britain was classified as an "extremely high-risk" place. People who've stayed in Britain for over two hours will be restricted from boarding flights to Hong Kong.
