Hong Kong woman raises ₹47 lakh for Indian house help's home

A Hong Kong woman raised ₹47 lakh through a GoFundMe campaign for her Indian domestic worker, Mariyam Shaikh. Shaikh, who endured years of abuse and homelessness, also cares for her terminally ill husband. The fundraiser, completed on September 7, will help her buy a home and provide her family with stability, security and dignity as they rebuild their lives together.
