Hormuz will remain closed until US complies with MoU, accepts our laws: Iran

Amid renewed tension between US and Iran, Tehran has said the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed unless US complies with the memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed at the Islamabad meeting and accepts Iranian rules governing the waterway. Army spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia called control of the Strait a "public and national demand" and said it was non-negotiable.
