Confusion prevailed over hospitalisation status of Mamata Banerjee's nephew and TMC MP Abhishek after he was attacked with eggs and stones. While a private Kolkata hospital admitted him, a purported note from a doctor stated Abhishek's injuries weren't serious and didn't warrant hospitalisation. Mamata earlier shifted him from another hospital, saying, "Treatment wasn't being provided properly."
