Hot & humid conditions to persist in Mumbai, other parts of Maha today

The IMD has forecast hot and humid conditions in isolated pockets of Mumbai, Palghar, Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg on October 11. Heatwave and hot and humid conditions have persisted in Mumbai and the Konkan since the southwest monsoon's withdrawal from entire Maharashtra on October 8. The maximum temperature in Mumbai reportedly reached 37.8°C on October 9, 4.7°C above normal.
