Hottest day in India this year recorded in Shri Ganganagar at 49.4°C

Rajasthan's Shri Ganganagar reported a maximum temperature of 49.4°C on Friday (June 13). This is the highest maximum temperature reported by any station in India this year, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. Shri Ganganagar's maximum temperature on Friday was 7.9 notches above normal.
