House made of recycled plastic waste built in Karnataka for ₹4.5L

An organisation has built a house made of recycled plastic waste for a waste collector in Mangaluru, Karnataka. "This house cost around ₹4.5 lakh. This is a pilot project...In 2021, we hope to create 20 homes for waste pickers," the organisation said. About 1,500 kg of recycled plastic was used to build the house, it added.
