House opposes K'taka's attempt to build Mekedatu dam: TN CM Vijay

Tamil Nadu CM Vijay on Friday said the state assembly strongly opposes Karnataka's attempt to build the Mekedatu dam across the Cauvery River. He said this as he moved a resolution against Karnataka government's proposal to construct the dam, and appealed to all members to support the motion. The resolution says the dam would violate the rights of the state.
