Houthis hit Saudi Arabia’s crude oil pipeline; shocking satellite pics show massive smoke plume
Iran-backed Houthi forces have reportedly struck Saudi Arabia’s East-West crude oil pipeline southeast of Medina. Sentinel-3 imagery showed a nearly 100-km-long smoke plume over the route, while six fire hotspots reportedly flared up at nearly the same time. NASA's FIRMS also detected clustered thermal anomalies. The 1,200-km pipeline provides alternative crude export route to Strait of Hormuz.
