Houthis used Claude to build missile software with 2,000-km range goal, suggests Anthropic

Anthropic, in its threat intelligence report, suggested Houthis used Claude Code instead of software engineers to develop guidance & control software for weapons programmes. These included a guided rocket, a multi-stage ballistic missile with a stated range goal above 2,000 km and variants including hypersonic glide vehicle. A test-fire of the guided rocket appears to have failed, Anthropic added.
