The winners of the Oscars are chosen by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, which has over 10,500 members. All members can vote for all categories but the process for Best Picture is different. Voters rank Best Picture nominees and the film getting 50% or more votes wins. Only two PwC partners know about the winners before Oscars.
