West Bengal CM and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee is leading from Bhabanipur constituency with around 9,359 votes, while BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari is trailing with 8,461 votes, early trends showed. Ratna Debnath, the BJP candidate and mother of the RG Kar rape and murder victim, is leading from Panihati. Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury is trailing from Baharampur seat.
