Heartburn is when stomach acid backs up into oesophagus triggered by certain foods, eating habits or lifestyle factors. A heart attack is when blood flow to a section of the heart muscle is blocked. A heartburn typically causes a burning sensation in the chest's middle while a heart attack's pain may likely radiate to left arm, jaw, neck or back.
