How can ₹2,000 notes be deposited or exchanged after Oct 7 deadline?

Deposit or exchange of ₹2,000 notes at bank branches will be stopped after October 7 deadline, RBI said. Individuals or entities can continue to exchange the notes at 19 RBI Issue Offices. They can be tendered at the Issue Offices or sent via India Post for credit to bank accounts. This shall be subject to relevant RBI/government regulations, RBI said.
