How Delhi's new AI traffic system will create green corridors for ambulances?

Delhi's new AI-enabled Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS), with an outlay of ₹1,789 crore, will enable traffic signals to create green corridors for ambulances and other emergency vehicles. The emergency vehicles will have sensors that can communicate with traffic signals. When a signal detects an approaching ambulance, it will turn green until the vehicle has crossed the intersection.
