US' Pentagon used Anthropic's Claude AI while bombing Iran, hours after Donald Trump blacklisted it. US used Claude for "intelligence assessments, target identification and simulating battle scenarios", WSJ reported. Reports had claimed that, among multiple initiatives, Anthropic was working on a program to use Claude to translate US commands' intent into digital instructions for fleets of drones.
