CEO Tim Cook took Apple's market capitalisation to over $4 trillion by the time of his resignation announcement. When Steve Jobs resigned, Apple's market capitalisation was nearly $350 billion, while at Gil Amelio's departure, Apple was valued at $2.3 billion. Michael Spindler, John Sculley and Mike Markkula exited with Apple valued at $3 billion, $2.5 billion and $1.5 billion, respectively.
