How did Cyclone Michaung get its name?

The cyclonic storm expected to develop in southwest Bay of Bengal by December 3 has been named 'Michaung'. Suggested by Myanmar, 'Michaung' is pronounced as 'Migjaum' and it means strength and resilience. Myanmar is a member nation of World Meteorological Organization, which names cyclones. Upon formation, Cyclone Michaung will be the fourth tropical cyclone of 2023 over Bay of Bengal.
