Gold and silver prices surged for the second straight day in India, with the yellow metal reaching ₹1,43,137/10 gm and the latter rising to ₹2,23,204/kg on Tuesday. While gold's rate increased by ₹883, silver's cost jumped by ₹3,629 from the previous day. In the past seven trading days, the price of precious metals was lowest on July 17.
