EAM S Jaishankar, during an FT interview, explained how diplomacy with Iran led to two gas vessels' safe passage from Strait of Hormuz. Jaishankar, who spoke to his Iranian counterpart four times amid war, said, "My talking has yielded some results." The countries have a "history of dealing with each other...which is the basis on which I engaged", he added.
