How did Indian LPG tanker escape Strait of Hormuz via an unusual route?
Indian-flagged LPG tanker Pine Gas, stranded near UAE's Ruwais port since the US-Israel attack on Iran, escaped the Strait of Hormuz on March 23 by navigating narrow channel north of Iran's Larak Island instead of regular shipping lanes. Iran's IRGC recommended the route, saying the usual passage was mined. The Indian Navy then escorted the vessel to the Arabian Sea.
