How did Nifty perform during 10 years of UPA vs 10 years of NDA?

As the final trading day before the exit polls start pouring in concluded today, the attached chart compares returns on Nifty50 during the 10-year UPA government (2004-2014) under PM Dr Manmohan Singh with those during the 10-year NDA government (2014-2024) under PM Narendra Modi. While Nifty grew 355% during the former, it only returned 213% during the latter.
