The engineering, size of aircraft and seatbelts helped in survival of all 80 passengers of Delta Air Lines plane that crash-landed and turned upside down in Canada. An expert said an aircraft's structural elements are designed so that wings and tail break off in case of tip-over. The seats can withstand impacts up to 16 times the force of gravity.
