How did Saif Ali Khan's attacker escape from the actor's house?

After the intruder attacked Saif Ali Khan, the actor and others pushed him inside Jeh's room and locked it from outside, said police. While the family members went to 12th floor for safety, the intruder is believed to have used the toilet window and exited through the two-foot-wide shaft through which he allegedly entered the house.
