Experts have warned that cybercriminals are exploiting viral political movements, like Cockroach Janta Party, to execute high-yield digital scams, News18 reported. They reportedly use fake donation drives, phishing links, malicious apps and AI misinformation to extract money and hack devices "by weaponising digital urgency". Digitally active youth are especially falling prey to this, it added.
