Israel's parliament has 120 seats and a government must hold 61 seats for majority. Israelis vote for a single party, not for individual candidates. To enter parliament, a party must receive at least 3.25% of the vote, or four seats. The leader of largest party doesn't automatically become PM. What matters is whether a candidate can assemble sufficient parliamentary support.
