According to Bernstein, India's Gen Z has become 'Swipe Up' generation as they swipe up for everything - social media, ride-hailing, food delivery. They prefer categories like quick commerce, edtech, athleisure, co-living, and D2C brands. Meanwhile, millennials prefer e-commerce, multiplexes, OTT, casual wear, renting. Gen X is inclined towards offline retail, kiranas, office wear, buying houses.
