Motorsport governing body FIA selects host nations for F1 races depending on several factors. They include historical significance, infrastructure, facilities, economic viability, geographic diversity, expansion plans, political stability, government support, and environmental responsibility. A total of 24 races were scheduled for 2026, with 21 countries hosting them across five continents.
