How does Iran's military strength compare with Israel's?

Iran's active force is much larger than Israel's with around 600,000 active personnel as compared to the latter's roughly 170,000, reports said. Iran also reportedly has a bigger fleet of submarines, tanks and armoured vehicles as compared to Israel, which has a bigger air force fleet. Israel's military budget ($24.4 billion) is nearly 2.5 times of Iran's ($10 billion).
