How FC Barcelona almost got scammed while signing Lewandowski

During Robert Lewandowski's transfer, a scammer posing as football agent Pini Zahavi tried to defraud Barcelona out of $1 million. The club found out about the scam in time to retrieve the money, even though it had already been sent. Someone impersonated Zahavi and persuaded Barcelona to send $1 million to a Cyprus bank account, but the transaction got rejected.
