An outsourced livestock inspector was caught accepting a ₹22,000 bribe in a Gujarat ACB sting operation in Gandhinagar. The trap followed a cattle rearer's complaint that Jaydepsinh Rajput threatened to impound his livestock unless paid. Rajput allegedly demanded ₹40,000 as a 'Diwali installment' before reducing it to ₹22,000. Officials used an unmarked car near Sector 28 to catch him red-handed.
