How has ISRO prepared for Chandrayaan-3's safe landing?

Chandrayaan-3 will make a soft-landing on the Moon even if everything fails, ISRO chief S Somanath has said. The space agency has designed the Vikram lander based on the lessons learnt from the failed Chandrayaan-2 mission. The latest mission carries a robust lander with stronger legs, additional solar panels, and a hazard detection camera to ensure a safe landing.
