RCB have retained Virat Kohli for ₹21 crore ahead of IPL 2025 mega auction. Kohli's salary for the first three editions (2008-2010) was around ₹12 lakh/season. He was retained for ₹8.28 crore ahead of IPL 2011 and for ₹12.5 crore ahead of IPL 2014. He earned ₹17 crore/season from 2018 to 2021 and ₹15 crore/season from 2022 to 2024.
