Old clothes are no longer just waste in India—they are becoming valuable resources. The country generates around 78 lakh tonnes of textile waste every year. Through recycling, reuse and upcycling, discarded garments are being given a second life, creating livelihoods for millions, conserving resources and reducing the growing burden on landfills.
