India has been gradually witnessing withdrawal of spring, 50-year analysis of meteorological records suggests. Regions analysed had 'net warming' during winter with Manipur seeing the largest change since 1970 (2.3°C), and Delhi smallest (0.2°C) change. "Warming is progressing fastest in pre-monsoon spring months, causing an earlier onset of summer-like temperatures across India," an expert said.
