How is US moving millions of barrels of oil through Hormuz despite Iran's blockade?

US is helping move millions of barrels of oil through Strait of Hormuz despite Iran's repeated attacks on ships violating its blockade, Axios reported. It created a shipping corridor along the southern side of the waterway, near Oman, through which 15-20 tankers have already passed. The US is using about 20 warships, including two aircraft carriers, to protect the route.
