Reacting to McLaren driver Lando Norris winning 2024 Miami Grand Prix, former F1 driver Karun Chandhok jokingly tweeted, "How long before [ex-US President] Donald Trump claims credit as McLaren's lucky charm?" The 2024 Miami Grand Prix marked the first F1 race won by Norris. "Trump came to congratulate me...He said he was my lucky charm," stated Norris after his triumph.
