How long will relief from heat last in north India?

The cool and wet spell in North India brought by western disturbance is expected to be short-lived, with rain and thunderstorm activity likely easing by evening of April 29. Daytime temperatures are forecast to recover to around 36-37°C as skies clear, with drier conditions returning from April 30. By early May, mercury may climb back to 40°C-plus, IMD said.
