BJP leader and ex-Bengaluru Police Commissioner Bhaskar Rao criticised Indian Railways over an 8.5-hour delay of Delhi-Bengaluru Rajdhani Express. "Seniors, pregnant women and children spent the night on platform. Dear Railways...officers...how many decades will you do this for?" Rao said. "Why do you punish us mercilessly?" he said, adding that delay was caused as "incoming train was late".
