In 2023-24, 3,31,602 Indian students went to study in US - the highest among all countries globally. Indian students alone made up for nearly 30% of all international students in US in 2023-24. US President Donald Trump's administration has paused new interviews for student-visa applicants globally, saying it plans requiring new foreign students to undergo social media vetting.
